About the Authors

Dr. Bonita Broyles is a former course coordinator and instructor at Piedmont Community College, where she twice received the Faculty Excellence Award, in addition to multiple Outstanding Faculty Awards. Gayle McKenzie is a lecturer and third-year coordinator of nursing students at La Trobe University, based at the Alfred Health Clinical School in Melbourne.

Sussan Pleunik is a lecturer at the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation (ANMF, Vic. Branch), and has an affiliation with La Trobe University. Associate Professor Rachel Page is Head of School of Health Sciences, Massey University. Rachel has more than 25 years of research experience in the area of metabolism and disease process.

Barry S. Reiss is Professor Emeritus of Pharmacy at the Albany College of Pharmacy in Albany, New York. Along with co-author Mary Evans, he has presented numerous education programs in drug therapy. Mary E. Evans is the Associate Dean for Research and Doctoral Study at the University of Southern Florida's College of Nursing. Formerly the Principle Research Scientist, Director of the Evaluation Unit, and Assistant Director of Evaluation and Services Research for the New York State Department of Mental Health, her special interest in drug therapy has brought her a wide variety of teaching experiences in the field.
