Over 4 million motorists worldwide carry RESQME® – keychain car escape tool, to keep their family safe on the road!

This 2 in 1, safety and survival tool, allows you to cut a jammed seatbelt and to break a side window in your car. Originally developed for first responders (firefighters EMTs, law enforcement agencies); resqme® has become an essential safety solution for all safety-conscious drivers.

The RESQME tool is effective only against clear and tinted tempered glass. Tempered glass is commonly used in rear and side car windows. The RESQME tool does NOT work on laminated glass. Laminated windows, which are typically used for windscreens, can also be found on some car models side windows. To check to see what your side windows are made of, locate the sticker on your side windows to see if it is designated as “Tempered” glass. If you are unable to locate the sticker or the information is not understandable, please call your car manufacturer.

Great Little Tool

Thankfully I haven't had a chance to use this, but from close inspection it's a quality escape tool. I have a 4WD so the risk of roll over is always present and these provide peace of mind to get out quickly. I like that they are very small so easy to position where you like in the cabin. I attached them to the sun visor frame using a cable tie, one for the driver and one for the front passenger, which still allows use of the visor but keeps the tool visible and easily accessible in the event of a roll over.
